Paris-born, New York-based stylist Alice Bertay has enjoyed an extensive and successful career in the fields of fashion and advertising. Her unique aesthetic informs cutting-edge editorials for such prominent magazines as Flaunt, Sleek, Surface, and Double – while her high-profile commercial roster include Sony, Mercedes Benz, Target, Nike, and Beyonce.

A singular style and uncompromising vision keeps Alice in demand – as a stylist and beyond;  as costume designer and image consultant to musicians like Animal Collective, School of Seven Bells, Jamie Liddell, and long-standing client Regina Spektor, whose image Bertay has continually honed.

Alice has also branched out – lending her distinctive eye to various experimental art projects for collectives such as the well-received, NYC-based Yemenwed. These works have been viewed at various prestigious local venues, including PS1, Palais de Tokyo as well as in the pages of Frieze magazine.

Recently, Bertay moved beyond styling into the field of creative direction – founding Kid-in Magazine: an online fashion and arts venue . Launched in 2012, Kid-In takes an avant-garde approach to childhood and creativity – spotlighting emerging and established influencers in fashion, and the fine arts. Bertay also foresees a foray into art event-planning via her new vehicle,  while an exclusive clothing line for the magazine is currently in the works.
